Chardonnay
Golden Delicious apple, white flowers, lemon-drop, rich, creamy
This 100% varietal Chardonnay is a 50/50 blend of barrel-fermented Chardonnay from a small vineyard outside of Murphy’s, and stainless steel fermented from Clarksburg. Clean and complex, with good mid-palate weight and a juicy finish.

2023 Rose
Fresh, complex, fruity, rose garden, strawberry, green apples
This mouthwatering Rose is a blend of 45% Fair Play Barbera, 45% Calaveras Barbera and 10% Clarksburg Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented in neutral oak barrels and aged on the yeast for 14 months, it has the structure and complexity to pair with a wide variety of food and is especially good with spicy fish tacos, pepperoni pizza and bbq ribs.

2023 alicante bouschet
Dark plum, graphite, forest floor, jalapeno pepper, red currant
Alicante Bouschet was developed in 1866 by French viticulturist Emile Bouschet as a blender to improve the color and structure of lesser wines. During prohibition its thick skin made it a popular grape to ship from California to home winemakers across the country. Meaty, dark and spicy, with nuances of black olive, herbs and loam, this new release has lively acidity and firm tannins.
$18/bottle - $16/refill
2023 fair play barbera
dark chocolate, Indian spices, black licorice, cherry, red candy
This layered and complex wine was grown on the high-elevation, decomposed granite soils of the Fair Play AVA and shows the perky acidity and focused red fruit that are hallmarks of Barbera. Medium-bodied and firmly structured, enjoy it with savory meat dishes like Korean short ribs and Mom’s meatloaf, or well-ripened soft cheeses like Camembert or Cambozola. $18/bottle - $16/refill
2023 el dorado sangiovese
Ripe plum, dried-herbs, black olives, cherry, leather nuances
Grown at 700’ elevation in Lotus, within earshot of the American River by Frank Matagrano, this full-bodied Sangiovese has more in common with a classic Brunello than Chianti. The palate is full of ripe tannins and the bright acidity makes it an ideal companion to grilled-meats, charcuterie plates and most tomato-based Italian cuisine. Also delicious with well-aged hard cheese.
$18/bottle - $16/refill
2023 Sierra Foothills Petite Sirah
Dark red fruit, ripe, complex, layered, toasty oak
One of the most useful blenders in the winemaker’s toolkit, Petite Sirah reliably provides color, ripe fruit and tannic structure to many blended and varietal wines. This wine shows plenty of all those things, along with brandied-cherries, warm blackberry pie and toasty vanilla. The palate is big and balanced, with fine mid-palate juiciness to counter the abundant tannins.

angelica
Berries, dried figs, roasted nuts, molasses, and leather.
Made from 140 year-old Mission grapevines from Rinaldi Vineyards in the Fiddletown AVA of Amador County. Angelica is a style of wine that dates back to the Mission period of California, the mid 1770's. It is made from vines originally brought from the Canary Islands as Listan Prieto and later dubbed "Mission" because of its association with the Church. Unlike most wines, Angelica is made with little or no fermentation; Brandy is added to the juice or must, bringing the alcohol level up to 18-20%. The young wine is then aged in barrel, in some cases many years before release. Our Angelica is a blend of numerous vintages and has an average age of 9 years.

fortified muscat
Apricot, orange-rind, honeysuckle, butterscotch
Made in the style of a port with a combination of Orange Muscat and Muscat Canelli, this wine was fortified with brandy half-way through fermentation and aged in French Oak barrels for 18 months. It is vibrantly fruity and complex, with good sweetness and cleansing acidity.
